CNC Machining & Initial Processing

CNC machines create juice grooves (if applicable) and precisely finish the edges with R-corners and R-edges as specified in the design.

Handle holes are drilled for applicable designs using specialized CNC tooling.
Part 2
Hand Finishing & Detailing

Each board undergoes meticulous sanding to achieve the desired smoothness, followed by polishing to enhance its natural beauty and create a food-safe surface.
Corner Pad Installation (Optional)
Skilled artisans install corner pads (T-shaped, L-shaped, rounded, etc.) using a combination of handwork and assisted machinery to ensure secure placement.
Part 3

Each cutting board is meticulously cleaned to remove dust and debris accumulated during the manufacturing process. This ensures a pristine surface for branding and further processing, guaranteeing a clean and hygienic product for the customer.
Drying
Cutting boards are carefully dried using controlled air circulation systems, ensuring they are completely moisture-free before moving on to branding and packaging. This prevents warping and ensures a smooth, even surface for the final touches.
Part 4
Logo Branding & Design Engraving
Laser Engraving or CO2 Etching:
High-precision laser engraving or CO2 etching machines are used to create durable and aesthetically pleasing branding, logos, or custom designs directly onto the cutting board surface. This process not only adds a personalized touch but also ensures a professional and lasting finish.

Inspection & Quality Assurance
Culiex integrates rigorous quality checks at every step of the process. We ensure that temperature, pressure, hardness, thickness and weight are meticulously monitored. Each cutting board is confirmed to achieve a Shore hardness of 90 or above, guaranteeing exceptional quality and durability throughout our inspection process.
